Seeking weather anchor: qualifications include meteorology, a lively personality and a willingness to dance the jig.

It's unlikely those were all listed on the job posting for 7News Denver's meteorologist position but those skills were indeed how Lisa Hidalgo improvised her way out of a recent camera glitch.

Hidalgo was showing viewers an image of a lovely, snowy park, when the camera angle suddenly dropped to her feet. She hardly took a second before exclaiming in surprise, bursting into a sort of tap dance and then dropping onto all fours to finish delivering her weather forecast from the floor.

Come hell or technical difficulties, this meteorologist wasn't going to leave her audience without telling them to bundle up for the cold weather.

As staff laughed hysterically behind the scenes, Hidalgo wished everyone a good day before crawling off camera, ever the good sport.

The video has been viewed more than 90,000 times since it was uploaded last week.

A weather reporter in Wisconsin also earned some laughs online this winter when anchors gave her exasperated report on the freezing, blustering conditions a standing ovation.

"I've run out of things to say. It is snowing and it sucks here. That's pretty much it," Angelica Duria said on the air.

The anchors burst out laughing.

They forgot to add patience to that job application.
