Must-see videos of the week – March 8

From a very cute story of two dogs to a story about instant karma, we've seen some great videos this week. Here are some of our favourites:

1. Blind dog gets a guide dog

Milo, a six-year-old crossbreed terrier and Eddie, a seven-year-old Labrador used to chase after dog toys together, but now Milo is Eddie's eyes. Owner Angie Baker-Stedham told the Mirror Eddie went blind quickly and without any training Milo was thrust into the job of guide. "Eddie relies on Milo to help him play and they love going to the woods," she said. "Milo really cares for Eddie, he always licks his face, they sleep in the same room and spend all their time together."

2. Girl gets shorts stuck while climbing fence

A daring girl proved why you should obey the rules and not climb over a security fence. She was at a music festival in Australia and learned the hard way that the top of the fence is actually called karma.

3. Man clears snow from roof

As this man in the mountain resort of Rogla, Slovenia climbs a ladder, you have to know it's not going to go according to plan. He appears to want to climb on the roof and shovel the snow off similar to how people here shovel their driveways, but that's not what happened. And we have to think he should have known better. The building appears to be a ski patrol hut and the shoveller appears to be a ski patroller meaning one would think he'd know a steep roof and an unstable snow pack may lead to an avalanche. I wonder if they tried the same technique on the other side?

4. Donkey basketball

Prince William and Harry may have their sport that involves horses, but that doesn't mean the rest of us can't hop on an animal for a sport. On Tuesday evening, students from Novinger High School in Missouri played a little donkey basketball to raise money for their "after prom" party. We're not exactly sure what the rules are, but shooting a ball into a net while riding a donkey can't be easy - especially when the donkey doesn't want you riding it.

5. Sharks swarm near Florida beaches

It isn't often we see one shark let alone hundreds. Florida beaches have been closed to swimmers for long periods as sharks make their annual migration up along the coast. The migration usually ends by April, but until then swimmers are being warned to stay out of the water.
