Gatineau, Que., mayor vows to shut down porn star’s sex-a-thon party

There are plenty of dirty, seedy and unsavory things going on it cities across Canada all the time, but only handfuls are considered so foul they receive vocal rebuke from the town's mayor.

But a Canadian porn actress who plans to have sex with 25 men at a public event in exchange for a boob job has found that threshold.

A Canadian porn company is hosting an event in Gatineau, Que., on Sept. 5, at which 22-year-old Zoe Zebra will have sex with more than two-dozen men, a decision that has Mayor Maxime Pedneaud-Jobin outraged and vowing warfare on those involved.

According to a Facebook page, the event titled "Boule-O-Thon" will have a $15 admission, with masks and condoms provided by the organizer. According to a rough translation from French, organizers promise 25 ejaculations and "a full erection" for those in attendance.

André de la Seine, a promoter for Zebra's porn company, AD4X, told the Ottawa Citizen that the event is entirely legal because she is not soliciting anyone and since the only fee is a bar cover charge, it can't be considered prostitution.

The company plans to film the event and, in return, pay for Zebra's breast implants.

“It’s a free country. … If you don’t like it, just don’t go,” he told the newspaper.

Obviously that doesn't settle the issue for the city. Pedneaud-Jobin says the city is looking for ways to shut down the event, though he concedes there is nothing they can do if it is indeed legal. He contends the entire affair promotes an unhealthy view of sexuality.

“We want an image of healthy women. We don’t want young girls to have an obsession with a certain body shape that is not accessible in many cases, and the values driven by this event are contrary to all of that.” he told La Droit, via the Citizen.

Obviously this is spectacular publicity for the porn star and her label, concerns about the emotional and physical well-being of Zebra aside, but it is doing nothing for the city's reputation.

Is the mayor right to do anything he can to shut down this event, or is Pedneaud-Jobin simply learning the realities of the job? Sometimes attention-seeking porn stars will use your town to host a sex marathon in order to permanently augment her body.
