Rob Ford's Escalade impounded in Bracebridge, Ont.; woman charged with impaired driving

Toronto mayor Rob Ford's black Cadillac Escalade has been impounded and a 36-year-old woman charged with impaired driving, according to media reports.

LeeAnne McRobb was pulled over while driving the SUV near Bala, Ont., a community in the province's popular Muskoka Lakes region. The mayor was not in the vehicle at the time, and police have released scant details so far.

The video below, shot by a reporter for a local radio station, allegedly shows McRobb at the impound, asking to pick up her possessions from the mayor's Escalade.

She also mentions leaving a watch in "Rob Ford's room," and when asked how that could happen, she shrugs and says, "oh whatever, don't worry about it."

When confronted by reporters, she says she had been in rehab with the mayor, but "not anymore."

Last week, Ford was spotted in the nearby town of Bracebridge, Ont., where he snapped photos with several residents. He is currently enrolled in a rehab program.

McRobb is scheduled to appear in court on June 17th in Bracebridge.
