Artist transforms black-and-white scene into colour — without the use of digital trickery

In his latest video, filmmaker Eran Amir introduces colour to a black and white world — without editing the scene or using colour correction.

What appears to be a black-and-white breakfast scene quickly transforms into one filled with bold colour, thanks to the careful choreography of Amir and his off-screen assistants and some grey paint.

He describes the short scene:

"A black & white video created by painting a whole room (including myself) in shades of grey. All footage was captured on camera in colour."

Warning: Background music contains some strong language.

Amir's last visual-trickery viral video involved 500 people holding up 1,500 photographs around Israel.
