Husband surprises wife with her own pregnancy

It’s not often a husband gets to break the news to his wife that they’re expecting.

So after getting a hunch that his wife may be pregnant with their third child, Sam Rader decided to reverse the roles.

He surprised his wife, Nia, with news of her pregnancy before she even knew and shared the adorable moment on YouTube. It has since received over four million views.

The YouTube couple are high school sweethearts from Wills Point, Texas, and are raising their two children while vlogging daily about their lives.

Rader knew his wife might be pregnant after she sent him a text message saying she was two weeks late. So when he came home from work, he decided to investigate and managed to steal a urine sample from her.

“So I had this dream about announcing Nia’s pregnancy to her,” Rader says into the camera. “I wanted to find out before she does.”

Standing in the bathroom, he explains that his wife pees throughout the night and doesn’t flush the toilet, afraid she’ll wake up the baby.

“So here I am, I’m so excited. I have a specimen. I knew it would be there,” he tells the camera.

The test reveals two lines. She’s pregnant with their third child.

Excited, Rader then heads to kitchen and starts dropping little hints at his wife.

As his wife goes to the cabinet to get jelly, he asks her if she’s getting wine. “Oh, that’s right, you can’t have wine,” he says, before dropping a second hint about her not being able to eat bologna.

Confused, she tells him that she hasn’t taken the test yet and there’s a chance they aren’t expecting.

That’s when Rader heads out of the kitchen to show her the test he performed.

At first she doesn’t believe its real, thinking he brought a positive test home, she says: “You’re hilarious. You’re pregnant?”

But then she asks him if he used her pee out of the toilet. When he confirms, she can’t believe it.

“Wait a minute, wait a minute. I can’t believe I’m finding out like this,” his wife says. “I had all these plans to tell Sam when I found out.”

Just to be extra sure, his wife takes a second test at the end of the video and finds out she is indeed pregnant.
