It’s Captain Jack Sparrow like we’ve never seen him before: taking time out of his busy life as a pirate to visit sick children at a hospital in Brisbane, Australia.

Dressed in full costume, Johnny Depp, as Captain Jack Sparrow, was accompanied by Stephen Graham as Scrum from the hit movie franchise ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ spent over three hours at The Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital.

According to ABC News, the 52-year-old actor was going from room to room seeing all the kids that couldn’t get out of bed.

“It was really beautiful,” said a mother of one of the children. “Everyone kept on trying to move him on, but he kept on coming back.”

The best part is that the Hollywood actor and his co-star completely stayed in character throughout the entire visit.

Both actors are currently filming the next installment of the movie series. They took some time away from the set and flew to the hospital in a helicopter specially for the visit.

The actors went around the different wards giving hugs to the children and snapped selfies with the patients. Depp even starred in a TV show made by the kids at the hospital called Juiced TV.

One of the stars from the TV Show, Ula, sat down with Captain Jack Sparrow for an exclusive interview that won’t air until July 13 on their website.

The hospital posted some of the pictures on their Facebook page and it didn’t take long for social media to start sharing some photos too.

It`s not uncommon for the actor to visit hospitals dressed in his pirate costume. In the past, he has admitted to traveling around with the costume specifically for occasions like this. Awww!
