Man creates huge flashmob as part of Brisbane marriage proposal

Just in time for Valentine's Day, an over-the-top flash mob proposal in Brisbane's King George Square.

In an event organized by radio station B105, Barry John Freeme proposed to his girlfriend, Carla Vincenzo, with the support of a serenading flash mob, marching band and enthusiastic cheerleaders.

"In an elaborate proposal organised by Brisbane radio station B105, BJ revealed himself as a a busker wearing a Guy Fawkes mask standing behind his fiancée while she was serenaded by a marching band, spot dancers and cheerleaders," the Brisbane Times reported.

She said yes.

Was she expecting a ring?

"No, but I've been pushing him for a while," an overjoyed Vincenzo told 7NewsBrisbane.
