Montrealer pays tribute to cyclist dad by living on a bike for 382 days
"I love being on a bike. It helps me feel free. I get it from my dad."
Montrealer filmmaker Guillaume Blanchet spent 382 days "living" on his bike — "being sometimes quite cold, sometimes quite hot — and sometimes quite scared" — in honour of his 64-year-old father, Yves Blanchet, an avid cyclist with 120,000 km of road covered in his bike-riding adventures.
The whimsical tour through Montreal is quite the tribute.
The Lighter Side does not endorse frying eggs or playing tennis while bike-riding.
Nor do we recommend sleeping on a bike without a helmet.
