Scene-stealing interviewed kid ‘apparently’ becomes viral sensation

When little Noah Ritter was approached by Newswatch 16's Sofia Ojeda at the Wayne County Fair, he was very game to give an interview, despite not being a news connoisseur.

"Apparently I've never been on live television before."

The 5-year-old boy continued, "Apparently sometimes I don't watch the news. 'Cause I'm a kid. And apparently every time Grandpa gives me the remote, I have to watch the Powerball."

The young scene-stealer from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, then offered his review of a ride at the fair.

"Well, it was great, because apparently you're spinning around, and apparently every time you get dizzy … all you do is get dizzy."

Unwilling to give up the mic yet, he clarified once more:

"And I've never, ever been on live television."

Noah's interview quickly made him a viral sensation.

"We take him to that fair every year, but he never got in trouble like this," Noah's grandmother Kathy Borowski told the Times Leader.

Despite his online success as a reporter – even Richard Roeper gave him two thumbs up – Noah "apparently" wants to be a palaeontologist when he grows up.

After fielding countless calls from the media, Noah told one reporter he was tired of being asked about his love of "apparently." Besides, he likes other "L-Y" words, too.

"Seriously," Noah said, "I'm tired of it."
