Trudeau combines babies and inclusivity in a photo the Internet loves

Prime Minister Trudeau is no stranger to the power of babies.

He also seems to understand the importance of being a progressive and inclusive politician, and the proof is in how much attention a recent photo of him has gotten online.

The Prime Minister and his newly appointed President of the Treasury Board Scott Brison posed with Brison’s partner and their twin girls, in a photo that was posted to Facebook by LGBTQ activist Laurent McCutcheon Monday.

“Few countries in the world display such openness,” McCutcheon wrote in French.

Brison is one of six openly gay MP’s in parliament, according to BuzzFeed, and was appointed to the treasury board by Trudeau.

He and his partner Maxime St.Pierre welcomed their twin girls Claire and Rose last year, reports the Huffington Post.

The photo is gaining traction worldwide, with more than 3,000 shares on Facebook and numerous comments.
