Young boy’s act of kindness to bullied classmate draws praise from NBA star Lebron James

When a young boy was getting teased over his shoes, his fellow classmate decides to do the sweetest thing ever.

In a Facebook clip that has gone viral this week, a young student gave a brand new pair of Nike LeBron sneakers to a his friend, who was apparently getting bullied for his shoes.

“OK that was a grown up move,” wrote Miguel Marquize Howell in the caption to the video. “Kid was getting bullied and ragged on about his shoes … so another student bought LeBron’s the next day.”

In the video, the young boy is seen walking into the classroom with an orange Nike box hidden behind his back.

As he pulls it out and reveals a new pair of shoes to his fellow classmate, the young boy’s reaction is full of joy.

“Here you go,” he said in the video. “I gave you a pair of shoes. Since you felt bad yesterday about how everyone was making fun of your shoes, there you go.”

The two share a big hug before the video ends.

The boy’s random act of kindness has earned him plenty of praise online, even from the NBA star, LeBron James, himself, who shared the video on his Instagram account.

“You’re going to great places kid for your generosity towards him,” James wrote. “True leadership right there!”
