Today, they're both awfully unlikable (but undeniably good-looking) characters in the AMC hit "Mad Men" -- and, if the reports are true, they're an undeniably good-looking couple in real life.
Actors Alexis Bledel and Vincent Kartheiser have allegedly revealed their offscreen romantic relationship after a witness spotted them kissing on a flight last week, and a source tells Us Weekly that the two have been dating for a few weeks now. Despite Bledel's recent role as a depressed housewife who engages in an affair with Kartheiser's snivelling "Mad Men" character, the 30-year-old actress has maintained a squeaky-clean "girl next door" image since her "Gilmore Girls" days -- which makes her pairing with a man known for playing unlikable characters a bit of a surprise.
But we'll take that as a testament to Kartheiser's acting chops, because sources insist that he's actually a swell guy who helped calm Bledel's nerves about their sexy scenes. The 33-year-old is also a vegetarian and a model eco-citizen -- he's even gone on record saying that he won't have kids, for environmental reasons.
If Bledel is OK with that, then she's probably OK that he still may not have a toilet. It must be love.
