Bill Rancic POPsessions: Why Giuliana Might Want to Watch Out for Bo Derek

Let's hope Bo Derek is not running the New York Marathon on Sunday.

Because Bill Rancic, who confesses that he still has a thing for the "10" star, needs to bring his "A" game to the race. He's set to cross the starting line dead last, with Timex donating $1 for every runner he passes to Fab-U-Wish, a charity that Bill's wife Giuliana founded to grant wishes to women fighting breast and ovarian cancers. She, of course, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2011 and had a double mastectomy, which gives the offer special meaning.

"Every dollar counts," he says. "I think if we can get that kind of money, we're going to be able to give a lot of pretty cool wishes to women who are really going through a tough time in their life."

As Bill geared up for the race, omg! chatted with him about some of his pop culture obsessions. Check 'em out!

1. What song was playing during your first kiss? It was a Frank Sinatra song, because we were in my apartment in Chicago and we were singing to each other and we were listening to him. Oh, you mean my first kiss in life? I thought you meant with Giuliana. Oh s--t, I don't know. That was 30 years ago!

2. What TV theme song do you still remember the words to? M*A*S*H. I took guitar lessons when I was in seventh grade and that was the one song I learned to play on the guitar. I don't know why or how that happened. I didn't last long on guitar lessons, but I knew how to play the theme from M*A*S*H. And the words are very dark if you recall.

3. What was the first movie you saw? I remember the first R-rated movie that I saw. It was one that me and my buddy snuck into. It was called "Used Cars," and how I remember that I don't know. I was 8 years old — this is when your parents would just drop you off at the theater — and we did movie-hopping, so we went from one theater to another.

4. Did you have a poster of a celeb on your wall as a kid? I had a poster of Bo Derek. And then I got to meet her! Ten years ago, Donald asked me to be a judge at the Miss Universe contest, and we all flew down to Ecuador together, and Bo Derek was on the plane with us. It was me and Donald and Bo Derek. I was so nervous because I had her poster on my wall [back in the day]. I was very giddy around her.

5. What was your first concert? U2. That was big. I was a freshman in high school and a lot of my buddies — older kids from the neighborhood — went. And my sisters. I have three older sisters, and we all went. It was great. There was a band called the BoDeans that opened for them. I'll never forget that. I still like U2 and, in fact, I listened to them on one of my runs last week.

6. What movie makes you cry? "Big Fish." My dad died [in 1999] so whenever I watch that I just think about my dad. I get a little emotional.

7. Who is the movie character you wish you could be? I'm a big Paul Newman fan. A lot of his characters are so cool. I love him on- and off-screen. I just think he's a great guy with all he did from a philanthropic [standpoint], so it would probably be a Paul Newman character.

8. What do you eat while watching a movie in the theater? My wife turned me on to this: We get a big thing of popcorn — it's gotta be fresh and hot, that's the catch — and then I take a big bag of Reese's Pieces and then I dump them on the popcorn, so they kind of melt down and you eat the salty with the chocolate and the sweet. Oh my god, it's so good. That is something I definitely devour.

9. Have you ever dressed as a celeb for Halloween? One year my buddy and I went as Hans and Franz from "Saturday Night Live." That was obviously a very popular Halloween costume back in the day.

10. What's the TV show you never miss? I definitely got into "Breaking Bad." I thought that was great. A crazy show that I watch now is "Eastbound and Down." I watch it every week, but I'm borderline cautious to admit that because it's such hardcore humor, but it's so good and so funny.

11. Who is your TV crush? I've had a lot of them. Blair from "Facts of Life" back in the day. She was a hottie. Growing up with sisters, we only had one television, so I had to watch what they were watching, and we watched a lot of that. And then Heather Locklear, man she was a fox back in the day. I sound like a 70-year-old man — fox?!

12. What TV show would you like to live in? I think "Mad Men" was a cool period, the old days. They all had their suits and they went out for the long lunches, so that would be high on the list.

13. What's the guiltiest pleasure currently on your DVR? My wife has that thing programmed, and she has all those "Housewives" shows programmed. So I watch them just by default, in bed she turns those things on. And they just kill each other! It's unbelievable.

14. What is your karaoke song? I sing a Willie Nelson song karaoke, "On the Road Again." Then my wife and I, for this function that we have coming up, are going to do a Johnny Cash and June Carter song. We're going to do a duet together.

15. What is your favorite album? Eddie Vedder did the soundtrack for that movie "Into the Wild," and I just started listening to it on my runs. It's really thought-provoking music.

16. What was your favorite T-shirt growing up? When I was a kid, I loved this TV show "B.J. and the Bear." It was about a truck driver and I always wanted to be a truck driver when I was a kid. I think my mom and dad got me a "B.J and the Bear" T-shirt. It was about a trucker whose companion was a chimpanzee.

17. What phone app do you use the most? Echofon. I've been doing a lot of tweeting and working on my tweeting abilities. I just got Instagram, and I'm going to Instagram some photos today because I'll be doing a press conference.

18. Who is your favorite tweeter? Donald Trump. He has the best tweets ever. It's great, it's real. It's obvious because I know him and I know that they're coming from him. He speaks the truth.

19. What article of clothing can you not live without? Probably my running shoes, because I do love running so much. I always tie them on the outside of my luggage because I don't want to ever check bags and this way I get more room inside my bag. People always ask me about them, it's such a conversation piece. And everywhere I go, I always run.
