Who is Lindsay Lohan’s amfAR gala date? Meet Mohammed Al Turki

She may have been linked to The Wanted’s Max George last month, but Lindsay Lohan only had eyes for Saudi Arabian entrepreneur Mohammed Al Turki on Wednesday night.

The 26-year-old "Liz & Dick" star, who wore a Roberto Cavalli dress and a ring that Elizabeth Taylor gave her, held hands with the 27-year-old film producer Wednesday evening on the red carpet for New York's annual amfAR gala.

"It's always an honor to attend the #amfAR GALA!" Lohan tweeted of the event, which is famous for kicking off Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week each year.

So ... who's the guy?

Mohammed Al Turki began financially backing Hollywood in 2010 and has since won executive producer cred on films like Richard Gere vehicle "Arbitrage" and "What Maisie Knew," starring Alexander Skarsgard. He and Lohan go way back, at least in Hollywood terms: He also appeared by her side last September at Lady Gaga's "Fame" perfume launch at New York's Guggenheim Museum.

This isn't Lohan's only connection with the Middle East. For New Year's, she was reportedly paid $100,000 to appear at a party in London with Prince Azim, the 30-year-old son of the Sultan of Brunei.

Lohan has also suggested on her Twitter account that she may soon be making a trip to the United Arab Emirates, possibly to promote Mr. Pink, a ginseng-infused drink she has been shilling since last year.

"Chatting with @sheerazhasan about Dubai looks like I might be making a trip soon," she tweeted last week. Hasan is the founder of Sheeraz Inc., a company that provides investment opportunities for royal families in Qatar and Bahrain.

If the troubled starlet does make her way to the UAE, Al Turki may be around to give her some tips -- just this December, he attended the 9th annual Dubai International Film Festival.
