Body found in Trinity River water in Fort Worth; authorities investigate cause of death

A body was found on Monday in the water of the Trinity River in Fort Worth, police said.

The body was found about 11:30 a.m. at bridge mark WF2220.

The circumstances of the discovery are under Fort Worth police investigation.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office is investigating the identity of the person and the cause of death.
