Man, 23, charged with murder after fatal Brixton stabbing

A 23-year-old man has been charged in connection with the death of a man fatally stabbed in front of shoppers in south London.

Kyiza Sandiford, 23, appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court today accused of the murder of Keelen Morris Wong, and of possession of an offensive weapon.

Mr Wong, 22, died on busy Coldharbour Lane in Brixton shortly before 5pm on Tuesday.

Sandiford was remanded in custody ahead of his next appearance at the Old Bailey on Tuesday.

A 15-year-old boy who was arrested on suspicion of murder on Friday remains in police custody.

Another boy, 15. who was arrested on suspicion of murder and possession of an offensive weapon on Thursday has been released on bail until a date in early January.

Detectives are appealing for information.
