The 68-year-old owner of a Brampton boxing gym faces 52 criminal charges stemming from historic sexual assault allegations, Peel Regional Police announced Thursday.

Ajaz Khan, president and owner of King of the Ring, was arrested in Wasaga Beach, Ont., where police say he is from, following the execution of a search warrant on March 27.

During the 20 years Khan's Brampton boxing club has been open, police say "it is alleged that he committed numerous sexual assaults on multiple youth victims."

Khan's charges include child pornography, sexual interference, sexual assault and corrupting a minor, police said.

Peel police believe there may be more victims and are asking victims to come forward.
