Brooke Henderson to pass on Pan Am Games: report

According to Beth Ann Nichols of Golfweek, Canadian golfing phenom Brooke Henderson will not be participating in the Pan Am Games in July.

Henderson, who is trying to obtain LPGA Tour status for 2016, will instead opt to compete in qualifying for the LPGA's Marathon Classic in Ohio.

The tournament in Ohio is held on July 16-19, the same week as the Pan Am Games golf competition.

There has been no confirmation from the Henderson camp as of yet.
