New Brunswick weather: Windy and warm today

The work week will end with very mild temperatures, gusty southwest winds and some rain as a trough of wet weather makes its way across New Brunswick says CBC meteorologist Peter Coade.

"This wind will be affecting all three provinces but only northern New Brunswick will see the rain today associated with it before evening arrives," Coade says.

As the wet weather moves south, he says the mild temperatures will also move out.

"Temperatures will be falling in the wake of this disturbance so there is a very good chance that many communities will see the rain change to or at least become mixed with wet snow just before it all comes to an end, which will be followed by clearing," he says.

Coade says all Maritime communities will see clear skies by late Saturday, with a sunny and cold Sunday expected.

"It also appears that the last week of November should be generally fair — at least no storms with the next precipitation not expected until Wednesday and by that time temperatures will have moderated enough to see showers rather than snow," he says.
