Good morning Calgary! It's a chilly start to your day, with clear conditions and a temperature of –15 C reported at the airport at 7:00 a.m. Here's what's happening in Calgary today.
Weather
It's a cold start to the day today but things should warm up quickly. We're looking at sunshine throughout the day and a high of –4 C. The wind will be out of the northwest at 20 km/h.
Overnight, the low will drop down to -8 C. Tomorrow's high will jump back up to 0 C. Looking ahead to the long-range forecast, we'll see sunshine throughout the rest of the week and into the weekend with above-zero highs expected for the rest of the week.

Calgary police have arrested a man at the Calgary International Airport who they believe is responsible for a shooting in August. Officers found the victim in a car at that time and were able to determine he had been shot from a passing vehicle but the victim wouldn't cooperate with investigators. Police say on Saturday night they arrested a 24-year-old man at the airport without incident. They believe the suspect and the victim know each other. The suspect is charged with multiple offences including discharging a weapon to endanger life.
The former Eamon's Bungalow Camp building has found a new home in High River. The City moved the building from its site on Crowchild Trail three years ago to make way for the park-and-ride lot for the Tuscany LRT station. It put the building into storage with the hopes of finding a tenant or a buyer for it. A car enthusiast group plans to move the building to High River with plans to restore it.
