Actor Cameron Diaz is in the news after reports that she’s returning to reprise her role as Fiona in Shrek 5, but she’s making headlines for different reasons this week in the real estate world; Diaz and her husband, Good Charlotte guitarist Benji Madden, have listed their modern Beverly Hills farmhouse for $17.8 million, Realtor.com reports. The couple, who wed in 2015, bought the property for $14.7 million in October 2020, less than a year after welcoming their first child, Raddix. Now that the pair’s second baby, Cardinal, is about four months old, they are switching it up again.

The guard-gated residence has seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms distributed throughout its 9,655 square feet. The upper-level primary suite, which boasts its own wing of the house, is outfitted with a fireplace, dual walk-in closets, a dressing room, and a skylit his-and-hers bathroom with a marble shower and a soaking tub. On the first floor, a cozy media room with an ensuite bathroom features wooden built-ins with integrated mood lighting, a chocolate brown ceiling, and matching blackout curtains.

Moody hues are also found in the formal dining room. The vaulted ceiling, dining table, and chairs are all shades of brown, and lime washed copper-colored walls lend a sumptuous velvety texture to the space. In contrast, the attached kitchen is airy and light, with cream walls, open shelving, and light wood cabinetry. A sizable center island with a breakfast bar is topped with the same warm-toned marble that covers the countertops and backsplash. French doors on both ends of the kitchen access the 1.68-acre grounds, which host a swimming pool (complete with waterfalls), garden paths, and a fire pit lounge area.

Per Realtor.com, Diaz and Madden spent $12.67 million on a nearly 11,000-square-foot mansion in Montecito in 2022. That same year, the Charlie’s Angels star sold a $4.9 million Hollywood Hills home to Ariana Grande.
