Canada makes history after beating U.S. in women’s soccer

For the first time ever, Canada will play for Olympic gold in women’s soccer after defeating the United States 1-0 in the semifinals. Jessie Fleming of London, Ont., scored the winning goal for Team Canada from a penalty kick.
