Happy anniversary, Carla Hall!

The celebrity chef, 59, and her husband, Matthew Lyons, have been married for 18 years and they commemorated the occasion with a sweet (literally!) Instagram post. In the April 29 post, Hall and Lyons share a banana split, looking into each other’s eyes as they take a bite.

In the next two slides of her Instagram, the Top Chef alum included beautiful portraits of each of them staring down the chocolatey dessert.

“The couple that eats dessert together, stays together,” Hall wrote in the caption. “Here’s to 18 more delicious years with you @matthewdlyons!”

On his own Instagram, Lyons shared a tribute to Hall and their nearly two decades of marriage in the form of a video slideshow. Set to “Love Will Follow” by Kenny Loggins and Shanice, the Instagram Stories post highlighted special moments the couple have shared over the years.

Hall and Lyons spoke to PEOPLE in February about their relationship, which started on Match.com. While Hall is the celebrity chef, Lyons spends lots of time in the kitchen as well, she revealed.

“My husband, Matthew, cooks to relax,” she told PEOPLE, noting that after work, he tends to “go straight to the kitchen.”

“I'm like, ‘Good for you. Thank you.’ He cooks, cleans, he does all the things,” she said. “And people are like, ‘What do you do?’ I'm like, I'm grateful.’ ”

Lyons described his wife as smart, witty and exactly as she appears on camera. "A lot of people see people on television and they're like, ‘Oh, it must be kind of an affectation. Some kind of put-on.’ But she is the real deal,” he said. “I mean, we laugh at home, we laugh at each other, she laughs at herself, she laughs at me. She's playful.”

Lyons is a lawyer turned yoga instructor. He teaches restorative yoga, leads guided meditations and sound experiences. He is aware that they come off as opposites, but assures that's why they work so well together.

"Carla's just go, go, go, go, go," Lyons told PEOPLE. "So I'm all about trying to just remind her the value of rest."
