Chaka Khan’s Daughter Claims Diddy Once ‘Got In’ Her Mom’s Face, Had His Security ‘Jump’ Her Teen Brother
Indira Milini Khan alleged Combs "publicly disrespected" the singer, "yelling and screaming like a lunatic"

Indira unearthed her mother's alleged experience with Combs by commenting on the disgraced music mogul's apology video on Instagram Tuesday, May 21. Combs, 54, originally posted the video on Sunday, May 19, after disturbing footage of him physically assaulting his then-girlfriend, singer Casandra "Cassie" Ventura, in 2016, surfaced on CNN.
"I’m glad this is happening to you," Indira, 51, wrote underneath Combs' apology video, before she detailed an alleged incident between him and Chaka, 71.
"You got in my mothers face and publicly disrespected her yelling and screaming like a lunatic," she wrote.
Indira added that when her brother, Damien Holland, now 45, tried to intervene, Combs' security guard allegedly "jumped" him. Holland was 19 at the time, Indira said.
PEOPLE reached out to representatives for Combs for comment. Chaka's representative had no comment when reached by PEOPLE.
The surveillance video of Combs attacking Ventura was published by CNN on Friday, May 17.
In the footage, Ventura, now 37, is seen leaving a hotel room at the InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles and walking down a hallway to an elevator. While she waits for the elevator, Combs runs after her down the hall, with a towel around his waist. Once with Ventura, he is seen grabbing her neck and shoving her to the floor. He then kicks her and grabs her purse and suitcase as she lies motionless. He briefly drags her toward the room before letting her go and walking away.
Ventura is seen picking up a hotel phone when Combs returns and appears to push her into a corner. He sits down in a chair and picks up an object, throwing it towards her.

Two days after the video was released, Combs apologized for his actions on Instagram.
"It's so difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life," he said in part, adding that he takes "full responsibility for my actions in that video."
"Disgusted. I was disgusted then when I did it, I'm disgusted now. I went and I sought out professional help, going to therapy, going to rehab. I had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I'm so sorry, but I'm committed to be a better man. Each and every day," Combs continued.
He said he was "not asking for forgiveness" and was "truly sorry."

Cassie in October 2023Ventura detailed the assault in her civil lawsuit against Combs, which was filed in November. In the claim, she alleges Combs paid the hotel $50,000 to obtain the footage. The two reached a settlement one day after Ventura's lawsuit was filed.
On Tuesday, May 21, Combs was sued by model Crystal McKinney, who accused him of allegedly drugging and sexually assaulting her in 2003. She is seeking unspecified damages and claims Combs blackballed her after the alleged incident.
Alongside McKinney and Ventura, Combs has been sued for sexual harassment and sexual assault by three other women and one man. He denied the previous allegations in a December Instagram post.
