Chatham-Kent police charge 2 with 1st-degree murder
Two men have been charged in the investigation into the death of a woman in Chatham, Ont., earlier this week.
According to Chatham-Kent police, officers began an investigation on June 4 into the death of a woman.
Later that day, two men, age 44 and 59, were arrested and charged with first-degree murder.
Both appeared in court Wednesday and were remanded into custody pending their next court date.
"This is considered an isolated incident and no threat to public safety," police said in a statement.
Police have not provided the names of the men charged in this investigation.
