Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes plans to attend two major sporting events in England

Chances are you’ve heard Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has been in Europe, supporting his girlfriend, superstar singer Taylor Swift.

We got visual proof of Kelce’s time in London when he took the stage at Wembley Stadium and performed with Swift.

Kelce’s teammate and friend, quarterback Patrick Mahomes, also has been in Europe. Mahomes and his wife, KC Current co-owner Brittany Mahomes, and their two kids started their trip in Portugal.

The Mahomeses went to Spain and then Switzerland. On the latter stop, Mahomes got some work in as he carried his daughter, Sterling, and son, Bronze, in a hiking backpack. Just not at the same time.

London Town

The family made the trip to London in time for Thursday’s Morgan Wallenconcert.

The Mahomeses will be in London through the weekend. Patrick Mahomes plans to attend a pair of big sporting events in England.

“Before Covid happened, we were supposed to go to Europe, so this is the summer I go to Europe with Brittany and the kids,” Mahomes said on Rob Riggle’s podcast, which was recorded last month.

“We’re going to spend about 3 1/2 weeks over there. So I’ve had to knock out commercials all up until this point, so I’m getting them all done right before the end of a minicamp and kind of getting a free three weeks to go over to Europe. We’re gonna bounce around, I’m gonna go to Wimbledon. We’re going to the British Grand Prix.

“And so it’s gonna be really cool to experience some of those things and get to see a whole other side of the world in a sense. That trip was planned right before Covid and then I had back-to-back kids, so I haven’t got to get back over there. And now’s the time to go.”

The British Grand Prix is Sunday and Wimbledon is underway, so we could see Mahomes at the All England Club sometime soon.
