Chocolate bunnies, Calgary car show and CUFF: Entertainment this weekend
It's Easter weekend, and you know what that means — chocolate, bunnies and a long weekend!

Easter egg hunts, tea
If you're looking for a traditional Easter egg hunt, numerous Calgary community associations are hosting their own. Let's start with the free ones.
Calgary-Currie has a great one near the airport on Saturday. Sylvan Lake is hosting a hunt on the main pier and waterfront on Saturday. Airdrie is hosting hunts on Sunday and Monday. So many Easter egg hunts. Just google your community name and you'll find one close to you.
Granery Road Market is also hosting a free hunt on Friday evening. Register for that one on Eventbright.
The Calgary Farmers Market is holding Easter at the Market until 2 p.m. Saturday — including photos with the Easter Bunny and Easter cookie decorating.
But if you're willing to spend some money, the Calgary Zoo is hosting egg hunts Friday and Sunday. Butterfield Acres is hosting its Legendary Egg Hunt, with openings still left for Saturday (call to register).
Perhaps you prefer tea or brunch? Heritage Park has several Easter teas, and an Easter brunch on Sunday. Despite work on 14 Street S.W., the park can still be accessed via Heritage Drive and southbound 14th Street S.W.
Fort Calgary is offering Easter Tea and Sunday Brunch, and the Calgary Zoo also has an Easter brunch on Sunday.
Dinner theatre
A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder won the Tony Award for best musical in 2014, and now you can see it — with dinner — at Stage West, starting Friday and running through June 23.
It's a murderous romp with lots of laughs: perfect dinner-theatre fare.
Check out the cars
The Calgary International Auto and Truck Show is taking over the BMO Centre this weekend. Thursday night is ladies' night at the show, so women get in for just $7.50.
Sunday, there will be an Easter egg contest for kids — the winner gets a pedal go-cart — and families (two adults and two kids) can get in for $30.
Also on Sunday, go see the Grey Cup! Nissan will have the actual Grey Cup on display all day.
For adults only
Marijuana legalization is not stopping the folks behind the 420 Music and Arts Festival. It starts Thursday and runs through Sunday at various downtown bars and breweries. The main events are happening at the County Line Saloon.
The festival celebrates the 420 culture with a varied selection of stoner, sludge and psychedelic music. This year's headliners include Crobot, Valley of the Sun, Woodhawk and more.
Calgary Underground Film Festival (CUFF)
How about something for Monday? The Calgary Underground Film Festival kicks off on Monday with a horror film called Little Monsters. It stars Lupita Nyong'o, who stars as a kindergarten teacher whose class trip is upset by an impromptu zombie invasion.
Yeah, there's also a love story — because of course there is. Josh Gadd is also in the film.
Little Monsters has only screened at SXSW, Sundance and the Imagine Film Festival, so it's a coup to have it open CUFF on Monday night.
