Christie Brinkley, 70, rocks polka dots for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit’s 60th: ‘Queen’

Legend status!

Christie Brinkley celebrated Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue’s 60th anniversary at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood Saturday night with a few costume changes.

At 70, the supermodel can still work a room, strike a pose and turn heads.

Brinkley is one of multiple OGs (Tyra Banks, Kate Upton, Chrissy Teigen, Maye Musk, to name a few) to appear in the celebratory issue, currently on newsstands.

On her Instagram, Brinkley shared a few snippets from the festivities that started in the morning and went into the evening. In one snap, the mom of three rocks a cowboy hat and cream oversized shirt to check out the poolside events.

To walk the red carpet, Brinkley opted for a retro black dress with white polka dots and serious cleavage.

“DOT’S all folks!” said her cheeky caption. “It’s a wrap on my fun time celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the iconic @si_swimsuit issue ! And I want to encourage you all to BE LEGENDARY!”

Many of her followers were duly in awe:

“Goddess Christie, every new day of your life adds to your legend of divine beauty.”

“OK, you just have me more speechless. That’s all I’m going to say.”

Brinkley has a “long and fabulous story” with SI Swimsuit, the mag says in the cover story. The Michigan native who grew up in Los Angeles made her debut in 1975, and went on to star in a total of 10 issues.

To have survived this long in such a competitive industry isn’t lost on her.

“I am grateful beyond measure for my many happy adventures with @si_swimsuit,” wrote Brinkley in another post. “If someone came up to young, permed, sunburned me during my first photo shoot with the iconic magazine and whispered, ‘They will still be inviting you to be in the picture at 70,’ I would have laughed at them and called them crazy.”
