Condor Ferries has shaken up its winter timetable with several significant changes including new high-speed services to St Malo in France onboard the Clipper.

The company is also extending its overnight services to Portsmouth into February and March due to their popularity, it said.

Condor published its new winter timetable on Friday as well as opening pre-registrations for all routes next summer.

Christophe Mathieu, Condor's CEO, said the routes from Guernsey and Jersey to St Malo would mean "a more resilient service" and convenience for people "planning a weekend away in winter".

Mr Mathieu said: "This is our last winter schedule before the current agreement ends on Thursday 27 March so passengers can pre-register interest in sailings for next summer through our website.

"The timetable will be similar to this year and we are offering this option to minimise any bother or inconvenience."
