Cook videoed putting genitals in food says he has ‘history of sexual offenses,’ cops say

An investigation into a former cook accused of putting his genitals into food at a Texas restaurant also revealed he possessed thousands of files depicting child pornography, law enforcement said.

On April 6, 27-year-old Othello Larenzo Holmes was arrested on charges of indecent assault after the owner of Kulture Restaurant in Houston showed police videos of Holmes putting his genitals in food items, according to a Facebook post from Harris County Precinct 1 Constable Alan Rosen.

McClatchy News contacted Holmes’ attorney on April 30 for comment but did not immediately hear back.

Holmes told authorities he frequently had sexual urges, but “he stopped himself before he ejaculated,” court records show.

He also told investigators he had a “history of sexual offenses,” according to the probable cause affidavit.

In a statement to news outlets, Kulture staff said: “We took immediate action by shutting down our establishment, cleaning the entire space, discarding all existing inventory, and contacting the Police to have the employee arrested immediately.”

Child Pornography

A forensic analysis of Holmes’ phone, conducted as part of the investigation into the restaurant incident, revealed thousands of videos and images depicting child pornography with victims ranging from infancy to teens, according to court records.

Authorities said Holmes may have also been creating and sharing his own child pornography based on Telegram conversation they found, court documents show.

Holmes told another user, “super pervy yesterday, I wish I had access to kids,” then shared two videos, one of which investigators said shows him fondling himself while lying next to a child, according to court records.

“We are fearful that he potentially may have … at some point molested young children,” Rosen told KPRC 2.

On April 24, Holmes was charged with five counts of child pornography depicting children under 10 years old, according to court records.

Holmes’ bonds for all five charges total $500,000, records show. He is due back in court June 6.

Investigators are asking parents with children who may know Holmes to contact them at 713-755-7628, KPRC reported.
