Coronation Street's Ryan Prescott shares childhood cobbles visit in throwback photo
Coronation Street star Ryan Prescott has shared a throwback photo that shows his stint as Ryan Connor wasn't the first time being on the cobbles.
The actor has portrayed Ryan on-screen since 2018, starring as the character through his horrifying acid attack storyline last year.
After briefly leaving the soap following a tough 12 months, Ryan Connor is back in Corrie as part of a new plot, but the actor has shared he has long had an interest in the soap.
Taking a trip down memory lane on Instagram, Prescott shared a picture of him as a child standing next to his mum while visiting the set of Coronation Street, then filmed at Granada Studios.

"I've had my eye on the cobbles for longer than I thought #mumknowsbest #corrie," he captioned the post, which shows them standing outside The Kabin.
Ryan returned to our screens earlier this year, finally sparking up a relationship with Daisy Midgeley, following their ordeal in 2023.
Daisy's stalker Justin Rutherford attacked her on her wedding day, throwing acid at the bride which Ryan jumped at to avoid her coming to harm.
The incident devastated Ryan who was left feeling self-conscious about his appearance, with Daisy supporting him through the trauma.

Ryan went on to abuse steroids while filming workout videos, before turning to shooting adult content on O-Vidz. Meanwhile, his relationship with Daisy continued to grow before the pair had a one-night stand, with Daisy refusing to leave Daniel for him.
Eventually, Daniel discovered their secret relationship and broke up with Daisy, while Ryan moved to Glasgow with new love interest Crystal.
Daisy was focused on making amends with Daniel and fixing their relationship, but found herself broken-hearted when she discovered him with ex-girlfriend Bethany Platt after her own return to the soap.
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
