Costco announces opening date of Riverbank store and offers money to new members
The long-anticipated Costco at Riverbank’s Crossroads West shopping center is finally opening and even has incentives for new members.
The store, at 2015 Claribel Road, will open its doors to shoppers at 8 a.m. Thursday, June 13 — nearly a year after work began at the site.
New executive members who enroll in automatic renewal of their annual membership will receive a $40 digital Costco shop card. New gold star members who enroll in auto renewal will receive a $20 card. The offer expires July 14.
The gold star membership is $60 per year and includes access to the warehouse and online shopping and two membership cards for the purchaser and someone in their household.
The executive membership is $120 per year and includes the same benefits as the gold star membership, plus discounts on Costco services and an annual 2% reward on eligible Costco and Costco Travel purchases.
