Which grocery stores are open on the Fourth of July?
There are several grocery stores, supermarkets and retailers in the Modesto area. Here are the major chains that will be open or closed Thursday for the holiday:
Costco: Closed.
Walmart: Open 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Target: Open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Trader Joe’s: Open until 5 p.m.
Sprouts: Open 7 a.m to 10 p.m.
O’Brien’s Market: Open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.s
Safeway: Open 5 a.m. to 2 a.m.
Winco: Open 24 hours.
Raley’s/Bel Air: 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Cost Less: 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Is the mall open?
Vintage Faire Mall will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
However, individual restaurants and retailers can have different hours, so it’s best to contact them directly.
Are pharmacies open on the Fourth of July?
CVS: Open 24 hours.
Rite Aid: Open 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Walgreens: Open 6 a.m. to midnight.
What’s closed in Modesto for the Fourth of July?
Several government offices, such as post offices and public libraries, and banks will be closed on Thursday for Independence Day, including:
Stanislaus County Library: Closed.
U.S. Postal Service: Closed and there will be no regular mail deliveries. Retail, delivery and collections will continue on Friday.
California Department of Motor Vehicles: Closed. Offices will re-open Friday.
Bank of America: Closed.
BMO: Closed.
Chase Bank: Closed.
