A video has been making its way around social media showing a large group of people dancing on and around a Columbus Police Department vehicle at a gas station. However, is it real?

Columbus Police have confirmed the vehicle in the video is an active duty police vehicle that is part of their fleet. In the video a group of a few dozen people are shown dancing while music plays in the background.

Some individuals then climb onto the hood of the cop car and begin twerking to the music and one individual holds what appears to be a snake.

The CPD vehicle appears to be an older model Ford Crown Victoria with its headlights still on.

Columbus Police told the Ledger-Enquirer they are aware of the video and the incident is currently under investigation.
