Date set for Charlie Donevan funeral

The family of Charlie Donevan has announced that his funeral service will occur on Saturday, May 25.

The service for the stalwart community volunteer, who died on May 2 about three months shy of his 100th birthday, will take place at 11 a.m. at Grace United Church, with music to be provided by the Gananoque Community Choir.

In appreciation to the community on behalf of Charlie, a reception lunch and cake is slated to follow immediately after the service.
