What restaurants are open on Christmas Day in Kansas City?

Bamboo Penny’s

The Thai restaurant in Leawood is open on Christmas, serving its entire menu from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome, but you can also book a reservation online.

Brew Top Pub and Patio

The locations for this bar in Overland Park and Kansas City are open from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Christmas. No reservations are required, and the full menu is available.

Buca di Beppo

The Italian restaurant on the Plaza will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Christmas Day, serving its full menu. You can book a reservation online or walk-in.

Chaz on the Plaza

The Plaza restaurant offers a four-course meal for $60 per adult and $24 for children ages 12 and under on Christmas. The meal menu includes choices like a baby kale salad, smoked mozzarella skewer, maple bourbon ham and eggnog cheese cake.

Green Lady Lounge

The live jazz bar is open on Christmas, with performances from the Mark Slimm Duo and Jeff Shirley Organ Trio. The full menu will also be available for visitors throughout the day.

The lounge is open from 5 p.m. to 3 a.m.

Kona Grill

The bar and grill on the Plaza is open from 11 a.m. to midnight on Christmas, and its full menu will be available. The restaurant is also serving a few Christmas specials, such as smoked salmon nova lox and baked glazed ham.

The Landing

The bar in Liberty opens at 11 a.m. on Christmas for the Chiefs game. The bar is serving a BBQ buffet for $12, and you are encouraged to bring your favorite side dish.

The rest of The Landing’s menu opens at 3 p.m.

Izzy Clements, 14, had just started in year eight when she found herself experiencing headaches and sickness - which grew so severe she lost 10kg in two weeks.
