Drew Barrymore’s ‘Humble’ Oven Is Going Viral in Her Spring Cleaning Video: ‘A Real Used Kitchen’
“When you love Drew even more because of her stove!” one TikTok user commented on her post
Drew Barrymore fans already adore her for iconic acting roles, fun personality, and intimate interviews on The Drew Barrymore Show — but recently, there’s something else they’ve come to love: her kitchen.
The E.T. star posted a video on Tuesday, April 16, in which she tackled some major spring cleaning in the space.
“It’s spring cleaning, everybody. Look at that now-empty drawer. How can I edit?” she said as she paced around her kitchen.
She then panned to two more empty drawers that she wiped clean. “Spring cleaning edit!” she said in a sing-song voice.
The video has over 1 million views, likely because most fans looked right past her newly-organized cabinets and commented straight on her oven.
“A real used kitchen. I think Drew might be an original,” one user wrote, while another said, “When you love Drew even more because of her stove!”
"Your stove is so humble ❤️," added another.
In a world where most celebrities have state of the art ovens with various functions, Barrymore’s appears more affordable. In fact, several fans even commented that they had the same stove. The appliance has a white exterior, no-frills burners and manual nobs, and a simple digital screen for the time and temperature.
Not only did fans “love her realness” when it came to the stove, but they also praised the entire kitchen in general for being so “normal.” In the video, fans can see that she doesn’t have a fancy drawer dedicated to spices; instead, she has a mounted spice rack nestled in the left corner wall.
One commenter summed up the general response to her video: “drew! your kitchen is so normal like the rest of us, love this!!!”
This isn’t the first time the Duplex star is inviting fans into her home. The Drew Barrymore Show host posted another TikTok video on March 12 showing a glimpse into her home as she did some at-home tasks and shared just how much she loved “staying in.”
“I know everyone thinks it’s boring, but it’s really not,” the voiceover said. “It’s the least boring thing. I am really happy being a happy little hermit. I love being at home. I never wanna go anywhere.”
Barrymore then showed herself modeling clothes in her medium-sized walk-in-closet, which featured racks of clothing on both sides of the wall, a dresser in the back wall and photos of her daughters in the back.

Several commenters noted how normal the space seemed. “I love that your house looks like a home and not just a show piece,” one user wrote.
Another said, "You give off the vibes of you just bought your apartment and are staying there, so wholesome and cuteeeee.”
