In the build-up to the match, Ben's father Phil brags to everyone about how his son is bound to win. Ben's husband Callum Highway is more hesitant about the boxing challenge, so he encourages him to reconsider fighting.

Ben refuses to listen, but his thoughts turn away from the match when he's approached by a police officer.

The officer explains that Lewis has been arrested for rape again. The news deeply affects Ben, who's saddened that Lewis wasn't brought to justice last year – leaving him free to commit the same crime.

Ben still won't back out of the match, so he heads into the boxing ring to face off against Martin – clearly full of pent-up rage.

Later in the week, Callum's worries for Ben grow as he seems to be bottling up his feelings.

Ben's mum Kathy Beale intervenes, encouraging her son to lean on Callum and get the support that he needs. Will Ben take the advice on board?

Last year, Ben reported Lewis to the police and later learned that he'd been arrested. Lewis was released after lying in his police interview, falsely claiming that sex with Ben had been consensual.
