Emma Watson time travels back to the 70s with the bounciest curly hairstyle we've seen

Last year, Emma Watson chopped off her hair in pursuit of a 60s-inspired pixie cut – which, she nailed. But just one year on and the Harry Potter alum is taking inspo from the succeeding decade with a hairstyle straight out of the 70s. Think: bouncy, curved curls.

Earlier today, Emma stepped out at Milan Fashion Week in Italy to attend the fourth day of couture runway shows. And while we're all for her buttoned polar neck sweater and preppy Prada skirt ensemble, our favourite aspect of the look has to be the vintage curls her locks have been styled in.

Prepare to time travel back to the decade of finding oneself, where Emma's hair may just inspire you to do the same:

What makes this style so vintage is the bouffant bounce that her strands seem to hold. I mean, just like the product-heavy, labour-intensive looks of the 70s, the actor's curls appear preened-to-perfection.

But fear not, for it you, too, want to recreate the above 'do, look no further than to our ranking of the best hair tongs on the market. You're so welcome.

P.S. If you hadn't already gathered, clearly, Emma used the infamous time-turner Professor McGonagall gifted her all those years ago in order to achieve those classic curls... I didn't make the rules...
