Emotional Contestant Gets to Play ‘Price Is Right’ With Julie Bowen
Modern Family star Julie Bowen joined The Price Is Right on Thursday as part of the show’s Celebrity Charity Week, where she helped four of the six contestants win great prizes. One contestant in particular, Kenneth, stood out from the rest from the moment he was called to go onstage. Kenneth was emotional when he met Drew Carey, telling Carey over and over that he loves him. As if meeting Carey wasn’t enough, then Kenneth got to meet Bowen and got the chance to win a brand-new SUV.
Playing the game One Away, Bowen helped Kenneth get three of the five numbers necessary to win the SUV. After making a couple of changes in hopes of getting the other two numbers on the board and before finding out if he’d won, Kenneth let Carey know what the moment meant to him.
Standing with his arm around Bowen, Kenneth told Carey, “You know, I’m just grateful to be on this show, and I’m grateful to stand next to you.”
It’s a good thing Kenneth was just grateful to be on the show, because he did not win the SUV.
