Euphoria Season 2 Casting Call Reveals Four New Characters

We need season two ASAP.

Grab your finest glitter palette and a maroon hoodie, because Euphoria is looking to fill roles for some new season-two characters. As the hit HBO series begins working on its second season, due out later this year, producers have announced an open casting call.

Fans who dream of starring alongside Zendaya have until January 27 to apply for a possible spot on the series, Project Casting reports. The news of the casting was posted to the A24 Instagram account, and although the Instagram Story has since expired, Hypebeast reports that an online form has been created.

There are four new characters being cast, the Google form reports, including a sensitive outsider named Darian, a scrappy fighter named Ray, a stripper named Ami who hates her boyfriend, and Serena, a 50-year-old woman who is "sassy and tough." The form notes that no prior acting experience is necessary, and the audition process includes submitting some written information and a video. According to the form, shooting begins in March, and actors will be required to report to Los Angeles for filming.

Aside from the form's limited details on possible new characters, little else is known about the show's return. It was only on December 15 that HBO confirmed the series was getting a second season, and the news elicited some appropriately excited GIF responses from fans on social media.

It's definitely clear that all eyes will be on Euphoria when it does finally return. Following its debut, the HBO show was met with critical acclaim, and many had praised the series for its representation. Additionally, the show made quite the impact on the world of beauty, inspiring an entire swath of users on Instagram to re-create their own glitter-filled beauty routines.
