Over the weekend, the 70-year-old star was spotted touching down in Australia amid talks that her not so secret past in the jungle might prove her better equipped for life of witchetty grub than her competitors.

Here's everything you need to know about Caitlyn Jenner in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

Caitlyn Jenner opens up about her experience of OJ Simpson case

Jenner spoke with campmates about what it was like being in the thick of the OJ Simpson trial during Wednesday night’s episode of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!.

The American footballer was charged and tried with the murder of Nicole Brown Simpson, his then ex-wife, and her friend Ron Goldman in 1994. ‘OJ’, as he is often referred to, was later acquitted but in 1997 a civil court awarded a £25.5 million ($33.5 million) judgment against him for the victims' wrongful deaths.

The sportsman later moved to Florida to avoid paying the judgment but was arrested years later in Las Vegas and charged with armed robbery and kidnapping. He was sentenced to 33 years imprisonment in 2008 before his release in 2017.

During a discussion with contestants Kate Garraway and Jacqueline Jossa, Jenner – who was previously married to Kris Jenner - said that she had seen Brown Simpson two days before she was found dead and that Robert Kardashian must have known whether Simpson was guilty of her murder.

Robert Kardashian acted as Simpson’s defence lawyer during the trial as is the biological father of Kim, Kourtney, Khloé and Rob Kardashian Jr.

'I saw Nicole two days before she was murdered,’ Jenner said. ‘It was Kris’ best friend, we were right in the middle of it. [Kris'] ex-husband Robert - OJ was the best man at their wedding.

‘It was a bad time for everybody, very difficult. We knew what happened and this trial was a joke and when the verdict came down Kris just turned around to me and goes: "We should have listened to Nicole from the beginning, she was right".

'That night the verdict came in Kourtney and Kimberly [Kardashian] were in school and obviously they loved their father - and they should - and they’d been following this for a year and a half.

'And when they walked in the door, I think it was Kourtney who said: "Well I told you he didn’t do it."

'And I just said to the girls: "Just because he got a not guilty didn’t mean he didn’t do it and I don’t want his name ever mentioned in this house again”.’

Jenner continued, adding that ‘there's just no way [Robert Kardashian] didn't know’ whether Simpson was guilty of Simpson’s murder.

Garraway asked Jenner she’d liked OJ, to which the 70-year-old said: 'No. Too big an ego for me. We went on some vacations together with OJ and Nicole and the kids. I liked Nicole and she sure didn’t deserve what she got.'

Kendall Jenner finally opens up about watching Caitlyn Jenner in 'I'm A Celeb'

Kendall Jenner has confirmed that she’s been watching I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here this whole time, and congratulated Caitlyn Jenner’s strength on the show.

On Wednesday, the model took to Instagram and revealed that she has been a big advocate of her dad taking part in the show since its beginning and yes, that means she did watch him dancing along with Nadine Coyle to her Girls Aloud dance routine.

The 25-year-old shared a clip of her dad dancing with Coyle on her Instagram story, telling her followers: ‘Always rooting for you. Strongest person on the [planet].

‘Just cuz I’m not posting doesn’t mean I’m not supporting. I love my dad! Everyone chill. [sic]’

The comments come amid criticism from fans after the Jenner and Kardashian families have remained relatively schtum when it comes to showing their support for the former athlete’s time on the TV programme.

Kylie Jenner has reportedly addressed Caitlyn Jenner's grandchildren comment

Earlier this week, Caitlyn Jenner opened up about her growing family during a conversation with her fellow campmates on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!.

‘Coming up this December I'll have 20 grandchildren!’ the reality star mused.

However, several Keeping Up With The Kardashian fans were left confused as Jenner only has 16 grandchildren. His son, Brandon Jenner is expecting twins in early 2020 with his girlfriend Cayley Stoker, which would make his grandchildren count 18.

As a result, several viewers read into Jenner’s comments, presuming that the former athlete had accidentally revealed that one of her children was expecting a baby before Christmas.

The Daily Mail reports that Jenner’s daughter Kylie 'laughed' when she heard there were rumours she was secretly pregnant following her father’s comments.

‘If anything, [Kylie] kind of just laughed at it,’ the told the publication. ‘That’s just who [Caitlyn] is in those kinds of situations.'

During the contestant’s discussion with campmate Kate Garraway, the proud father also said that her children refer to her as ‘Dad’.

‘My kids all call me Dad,’ he said. ‘Kendall asked me the question first and I said Dad. I'm your Dad and I'll always be your Dad until the day I die.'

Kim Kardashian speaks about Caitlyn Jenner's stint On ‘I’m A Celeb’

Kim Kardashian has become the first member of her famous family to finally break their silence on Jenner’s appearance on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.

Sharing a motivational wake up call with her fellow camp mates over the weekend, the 70-year-old said: ‘Let’s go team. Not just another day, another day to excel, another day to be great. Rise and shine!’

And yes, that is a reference to her daughter Kylie Jenner’s ‘Rise and shine’ moment.

In response, Kim tweeted the clip with the caption: ‘I literally recorded this and set this as my alarm a few weeks ago.’

We’re really hoping this is how the Jenner-Kardashian household were woken up during their childhoods.

Caitlyn Jenner says she wants a ‘break’ from her family

Jenner has revealed that she is looking forward to a ‘break’ from her family, revealing they don’t understand her decision to take part in the show.

The Daily Mail reports the reality TV star told her famous family that she planned to compete in the programme, explaining ‘you know what, I need a break, I like challenges’.

In her pre-jungle interview, Jenner also revealed that she is 'very handy', good at 'boiling water', and diffusing tension among groups.

‘I am definitely a peace maker and I do think I bring people together,’ she said.

'I will also keep the fire going and when it starts raining, I will make little streams to go outside the camp rather than through it!'

Caitlyn Jenner has been seen in Australia

Jenner is reportedly one of the first stars to have landed Down Under. She was photographed hauling her luggage through Brisbane airport a week before the show is scheduled to commence on Sunday 17 November.

Though ITV are yet to announce her involvement in the show, the reality star's luggage looked particularly lighter than one would expect for a relation of Kylie and Kendall.

Could this be the biggest tell tale sign of all?

The Express reports that Jenner stopped for photos with fans at the airport, while others have expressed concern that the star might not be fully aware of what's in store of her.

One Twitter user wrote: 'I had a feeling that #CaitlynJenner might not know what, I'm a celebrity get me out of here is all about. She's in for one hell of a shock.'

Caitlyn Jenner has been in the jungle before

Despite claiming to The Sun that she has 'no idea' how the show works, Jenner is actually the most experienced contestant in this year's line up, which includes Capital FM’s Roman Kemp, EastEnders actor Jacqueline Jossa and Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle.

The septuagenarian was on the American version of the show in 2003 back when she was formerly known as Bruce Jenner. In April 2015, the retired athlete publicly came out as a transgender woman during an interview with ABC journalist Diane Sawyer.

In the first season of the US show, Jenner made it to the final week and was seen taking part in bush tucker trials and even winning a particularly messy chicken feather challenge.

During her pre-jungle interview, the star said that she found her previous experience in the jungle as a 'cleansing of the soul'.

'I did the US version of this and it was a very interesting experience last time I did it,' she said.

'Being in the Jungle is certainly not easy and yes, it is totally back to basics but I thought this would be a great opportunity to leave everything behind for three weeks. Last time, it was almost like a cleansing of the soul!'

Caitlyn Jenner is one of ITV's highest paid contestants

According to The Sun, Jenner has reportedly been paid £500,000 to sign up to the show, with an ITV source revealing: 'They’ve asked her every year for a long time, but she finally felt the time was right.'

There are fears I'm A Celebrity may be cancelled

The Mirror reports that at least three people have died and thousands have been displaced by a weekend of bushfires in Australia. As a result I'm A Celebrity show bosses are reportedly on red alert and 'closely monitoring' if they need to evacuate the jungle site in the coming days.

On Sunday - which marked the third day of the fire emergency - more than 100 blazes were continuing to burn across New South Wales and Queensland.
