Got a fear of heights? Then you may be challenging your anxieties of this video that shows two world-class athletes crossing a 1km slackline between two mountaintops.

Nathan Paulin and Danny Menšík have beat the world record for longest highline walk at 1020 meters. That crushes the record of 493 meters, previously held by Paulin.

The dizzying record breaking feat took place on April 19 in Aiglun, France, and saw each athlete balancing a daunting 600 meters in the air at the slackline’s highest point, reports Red Bull.

It took Paulin approximately one hour and fifteen minutes to cross the entire length of the line, which can be seen bending and swaying as he gradually makes his way to the other side of the gorge.

“You need to stay concentrated all the way,” said Paulin. The hardest part was the end; I thought I was so close, but I had 200m to go.”

Menšík, on the other hand, only took about 40 minutes to cross the entire slackline. To be fair, he completed the feat on his third try.
