Florida police seek info about slain Toronto couple

Four Florida police officers are headed to Toronto to learn more about a retired Canadian couple who were found dead in their townhouse north of Miami earlier this month.

David Pichosky, 71, and Rochelle Wise, 66, were found dead inside a townhouse in Hallandale Beach, Florida, on Jan. 10.

The couple failed to show up for a planned lunch with a neighbour the day before their bodies were discovered.

That same neighbour went to check on them the following day, finding the two Torontonians dead.

A memorial service was held at Benjamin's Park Memorial Chapel in Toronto on Jan. 14.

While police have released few details about the case, the Hallandale Beach chief of police and three detectives are travelling to Toronto this weekend seeking more information about the victims.

The Florida investigators intend to speak with some of the victims' friends and relatives while in the city from Sunday to Thursday of next week.
