Fort Worth police investigate shooting that injured 1 Saturday morning

Authorities are investigating a shooting in Fort Worth that hospitalized a man Saturday, police said.

At around 10:45 a.m., police were dispatched to a shooting call in the area of East Lancaster Avenue and Riverside Drive.

Officers found a man who said he had been shot in the leg at least an hour before calling police. He provided a description of the suspect, but officers have not been able to identify a person of interest or locate a crime scene.

The victim was taken to a hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Gun Violence Detectives have been notified.
