Fort Worth police are investigating 3-vehicle crash that killed 1, injured 2

Authorities are investigating a three-vehicle car accident that killed one and hospitalized two others, Fort Worth police announced in a news release Saturday.

Just before 1 p.m., police were dispatched to the intersection of South Riverside Drive and East Berry Street in reference to a three-vehicle major accident.

Upon arrival, first-responders located the vehicles and quickly provided aid, according to the release.

Three people were taken to a local hospital for medical treatment, where one of them was pronounced dead, police said.

The other two victims are in stable condition, according to police.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner will determine the manner and cause of the victim’s death. The name of the victim has not been released pending notification of next of kin.

The Fort Worth Traffic Investigations Unit was notified and is investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
