Future KU big man Flory Bidunga scores six points in McDonald’s All-America game

Future University of Kansas men’s basketball center Flory Bidunga scored six points and grabbed six rebounds in the West team’s 88-86 loss to the East in the 2024 McDonald’s All-America game at the Toyota Center in Houston on Tuesday night.

Bidunga, a 6-foot-9 senior from Kokomo (Indiana) High School, was 3-for-3 from the field. He had one block, one steal and one turnover while starting and playing 18 minutes.

Dylan Harper, a future Rutgers guard, scored 22 points with six rebounds and five assists, while future Texas guard Tre Johnson had 17 points and three assists, also for the West.

Derik Queen, a future Maryland forward, scored 23 points with eight rebounds and five assists for the winning East team. Future North Carolina forward Ian Jackson had 21 points and future Kentucky guard Boogie Fland totaled 17 points, five rebounds and three assists, also for the East.

Fland won the sportsmanship and leadership award and Harper and Queen were co-MVP’s of the 47th annual McDonald’s game.

Liam McNeeley a small forward from Richardson, Texas, who is considering KU, Kentucky and others, scored two points on 0-for-6 shooting. He was 2-of-2 from the line with four rebounds in 12 minutes.
