Gabrielle Union and Zaya Coordinate in Lux Leather Looks for Dwyane Wade’s Night of Stand-up Comedy With Netflix
Gabrielle Union, Zaya and Dwyane Wade attended When We Gather: A Night of Stand-up Comedy Curated by Dwyane Wade during Netflix Is a Joke Fest in Los Angeles on Thursday. The Union-Wade family wore complementary looks and coordinated ensembles for the event, held at The Miracle Theatre.
For the occasion, Union and Wade fashioned pieces that elevated their red carpet attire and spoke to their individual style sensibility. Wade wore a knit sweater, featuring pockets and large buttons, along with a pair of baggy brown trousers and white sneakers. He accessorized with a pair of sunglasses, as well.

Union wore a fiery red strapless minidress for the event. The “Bring It On” alum’s hair was styled in a sleek bob. She accessorized with a gold chain necklace and a pair of black sandal heels. Along with the minidress, Union was also photographed wearing a black leather trenchcoat.
Union and Wade were joined by Wade’s 16-year-old daughter Zaya for the red carpet event. Similar to a few pieces Union wore, Zaya fashioned an oversize black leather jacket over a cream-colored top. She added a subtle pop of color with a pair of merlot heeled boots. Like her father, Zaya accessorized her look with a pair of black sunglasses.
During the event, Zaya and Union posed for a photo together, showcasing the complementary nature of their individual looks. The Union-Wade family has made a few red carpet appearances together in the past. Union and Zaya attended the 2023 GLAAD Media Awards together, with their individual style sensibilities on full display.
Still a teenager, Zaya has already made a name for herself in the fashion industry. She made her runway debut during Paris Fashion Week in March 2023 as part of Miu Miu’s fall 2023 ready-to-wear collection showcase. Prior to March 2023 Paris Fashion Week, Zaya starred in Puma’s Forever.Classic campaign in February of that year alongside Iris Apatow, Caleb McLaughlin and the late actor Angus Cloud.
