Gander woman charged with aggravated assault following weekend stabbing
The RCMP in central Newfoundland have charged a 19-year-old woman in relation to a stabbing that happened early Sunday morning in Gander.
A 25-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment after police responded to a call of a stabbing in the town.
He has since been released from hospital.
Several people were interviewed, including a 19-year-old woman, who is now facing a charge of aggravated assault.
She has been released from custody with a future court date.
